Grilled Shrimp Tacos

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE SHRIMP:

  • 1 ½ pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2-3 tablespoons Fish Taco Spice
  • 1 lime  
  • Olive oil
  • Skewers

SOUR CREAM SAUCE:  

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Fish Taco Spice  
  • Juice of ½ lime

 FIXINGS:

  • Warm corn or flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro leaves
  • Salsas
  • Extra lime wedges

DIRECTIONS:

Shrimp: 

  1. In a bowl toss the shrimp with olive oil and the Fish Taco Spice. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes. Skewer shrimp. 
  2. Preheat the grill or pan to medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and lightly charred.
  3. Remove from grill or pan.  

Sour Cream Sauce:

  1. Combine together sour cream, Fish Taco Spice, and lime juice.
  2. Chill until ready to serve. 

 Tortillas:

  1. Warm tortillas on the grill or a dry skillet until pliable with a few golden spots or char.

Assemble your tacos and enjoy!
